The Creek Side Green Team knows that Springtime is here, as we have spent the last two months planting in the Greenhouse to get ready. You will see our beautiful annual flower combinations that we have created when you stop by to visit The Greenhouse. Plus our big selection of Grown Fresh perennials available in the nursery – fully hardened-off and ready for planting in your garden.
Especially with this beautiful weather now the Green Team is ready for you! Not only are we planting but, the Garden Shop and Glasshouse are stocked with new garden décor selections and garden supplies.
New Fresh Flower Designs
Look for new colors of geranium, petunia and calibrachoa varieties popping out in our bright and fresh flower combinations in container gardens and hanging baskets throughout the greenhouses! Keep your eyes open for a few new product lines being grown as well. Cool season gardeners, check out the pansy, alyssum, dianthus and snapdragon 6 packs that will flower nicely outside in mid-April. Great for planting into a combo pot.
Perennials
In the perennial department, our Plant Select choices continue to grow. We know our that water-wise/ drought tolerant options are important and we continue to offer more Grown Fresh selections. Over 80% of our over 400 varieties will help gardeners hoping to save water in the long run.
Trees and Shrubs
Although some of our tree and shrub selection will not be available until early May, Creek Side will offer more trees and shrubs for your landscape than ever before. Look for colorful garden hydrangeas in an assortment of colors and heights that will be available throughout the spring and summer. The assortment will include at least 5 different varieties of the ever popular ‘Autumn Blaze” type maples. Each variety will grow between 20’ – 40’ tall sporting its own unique bright fall color.
Patio Tropicals
For your blooming patio décor, we have expanded our flowering tropical plant offerings beginning mid-April. The selection will again include Mandevilla on a trellis, Hibiscus trees and bushes, Gardenia bushes, Bougainvillea and a variety of tropical plants suitable for enjoying on your patio or inside your home.
