MICROWAVE ‘CHOCOLATE’ MUG CAKE
AS THE FALL EVENINGS BEGIN TO COOL, WE TURN OUR THOUGHTS TO THOSE SPECIAL TREATS THAT WARM OUR INSIDES AND SATISFY OUR TASTEBUDS. THIS RECIPE IS A GOOD WAY TO “EAT ONLY ONE” OR INDIVIDUALIZE FOR A GROUP! HAVE FUN EXPERIMENTING WITH YOUR FAVORITE CAKE FLAVORS, TOO!
DRY INGREDIENTS
4 TABLESPOONS CAKE FLOUR
4 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
2 TABLESPOONS COCOA
WET INGREDIENTS
ONE EGG
3 TABLESPOONS MILK
3 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL
SPRINKLES OR OTHER FAVORITE TOPPINGS
PROCEDURE
1. MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS (FLOUR, SUGAR, COCOA) IN YOUR MICROWAVE MUG REALLY WELL, BUT NOT PUFFING IT ALL AROUND.
2. NEXT, CRACK YOUR EGG AND MIX IT ALONG WITH THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
3. ADD IN THE MILK AND OIL AND MIX SLOWLY AND THOROUGHLY.
4. NOW THAT ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS ARE INSIDE AND MIXED, PUT YOUR RAW MUG-CAKE IN THE MICROWAVE AND SET IT FOR 3 MINUTES ON HIGH.
5. AFTER THE MIXTURE STOPS RISING AND THEN SUDDENLY FALLS IN THE MUG, YOU’LL KNOW IT’S READY.
6. TAKE IT OUT OF THE MICROWAVE (IT WILL BE HOT!) EAT RIGHT OUT OF THE MUG OR TIP IT OVER ONTO A SMALL PLATE. SHAKE THE SPRINKLES ON TOP AND ENJOY!
