New Veggies & Herbs 2020

Home vegetable gardeners love Creek Sides vegetable plant program!  All our herbs and vegetables are Grown Fresh™ in the Creek Side greenhouse under our watchful care to help ensure you receive the best plants available.  Many of you are familiar with our Burpee varieties like Tomatoes Baby Boomer, Happy Day and Bush Steak.  The Burpee varieties are In addition to many of the tried and true varieties like Super Sweet 100, Early Girl, Cherokee Purple and Black Krim you love!

For 2020, Creek Side is expanding our variety selection to include a new program named HandPicked Vegetables.  These varieties offer fresh, home-grown flavor and exceptional fruit quality along with earlier and longer harvests and loads of tasty produce.

New HandPicked Vegetable varieties at Creek Side for 2020:

Midnight Snack tomato – Unique cherry tomato ripens red with a glossy black-purple skin when exposed to sunlight.Productive all season, yielding fruit that is well-balanced and flavorful.  Best ground in the ground.  All-America Selections National Winner.

Artemis tomato – Super sweet, rich,red cherry tomato with a firm, crisp texture great for salads or sauce.  High disease resistance.  Best grown in ground.

Tidy Rose tomato – Compact deep pink beefsteak type.  Beautiful ribbed fruit with rich heirloom flavor.  Best grown in containers or in the ground.

Little Napoli tomato – Patio roma type with disease resistance.  High yields for such a small plant.  Best grown in containers

Orange Marmalade sweet pepper – High yields of sweet bell peppers ripening from green to orange.  Early-ripening, sweet and flavorful medium-sized fruits.

Aji Rico hot pepper – Hybrid hot pepper with vigor and high yields.  Narrow conical fruit with delicate citrus flavor and medium heat is crispy and thin-walled.  Large plant best grown in ground.  All-America Selections National Winner.

Habanero Primo Red hot pepper – Early ripening  produces huge yields of large fruit with about one-third the heat.  Best grown in containers or in the ground.

Everleaf Emerald Towers Basil – Dark green, glossy foliage with traditional sweet Italian flavor on a tidy columnar habit.  Well-branched variety makes a beautiful towering plant with huge harvest potential.  Best grown in containers or in the ground.
