Colorado Wildflowers 2025

Selina took a nice hike in Summit County last weekend and the wildflowers are in full force.  What a beautiful state we are so fortunate to live in.  Get up there and check it out for yourself!

In the meantime, following are a collection of wildflower photos that Selina took and shared with us.

When hiking in the high country/ alpine tundra remember there is only a 2 month growing season in the high alpines.  Research has shown that a plant that is 6″ in diameter may be at least 200 years old.  Which is why it is so important to watch your step in the tundra.  One step can destroy a plant which will take another 200 years to complete it’s growing process again.  Stay on trails, leash your dogs and leave no trace.  Thanks and enjoy!
