Fall Events at Creek Side Gardens

Fall activities and plants at Creek Side

fall flowers 8-31-16The Fall season brings out a little bit of our agrarian roots in all of us.  Due to our farming heritage, we naturally cannot resist the urge to celebrate the end of the growing season by decorating with all the warm and comforting color tones that makes the fall season special.  Gold and yellow, red, orange and brown, all the earth color tones that we equate with nature at this time of the year.  Bring in the harvest, let’s celebrate the season before you know what comes rolling in.

pumpkin courtyard 2013Creek Side’s largest and most popular Fall Event is the Annual Pumpkin Festival, traditionally held the first weekend in October.  Talk about fall colors and fall decorating!  Pumpkin Fest is full of fall mums, straw bales, cornstalks and of course pumpkins of all shapes sizes and colors creating a rich colorful fall tapestry that we love to immerse ourselves in.  Bring the kids and bring your camera because the action never stops from frolicking in the pumpkin patch, going on a tractor pulled hay ride to playing games and enjoying a free lunch together!
