The summer event season features fun and exciting activities at Creek Side Gardens.  The weather has warmed up and the hard work of garden bed cleanup and preparation is over.  Most of the flower and vegetable planting has already been completed.  Now is the time to kick back, relax and enjoy your beautiful flowers and the wonderful ambiance they create around your patio.  But wait… a garden’s work is never completely finished.  Maybe you are trying to catch up on a little last minute planting.  Or there is a big family event on your schedule for the summer requiring a little extra special decoration.  No worries, Creek Side will offer fresh annual and perennial flowers all summer long.  Small pots for filling in or larger pots or hanging baskets to create a big splash.  Check out our great selection featuring varieties that will thrive especially well in our warm summer season.

Harvest Fest 2014 glasshouse guests3The summer months are a time for celebration.  And Creek Side leads the way this summer by hosting a couple of new events and also a very popular returning event.  Brand new this year, Father’s Day Fly Fishing class to held the third Thursday evening right before Father’s Day.  Join us for an evening of Fishing events especially for Dad!  More details to follow.  Enjoy the Great Outdoors with Dad follows on the Saturday before Father’s Day.  Enjoy picnic/camping snacks and fish for a deal in our pond.  Late August brings us toward the end of the season and time for our Summer Harvest Farm to Table Celebration.  We bring in the harvest and prepare fresh food with love and appreciation for all of our loyal supporters.  One of our most popular events of the year!

perennials2 6-23-14Perennial garden planting takes place all summer.  Stop by Creek Side each month of the season to see for yourself which perennial plants are in bloom and how they may help you fill in some bare spots in your garden.  You will find a nice selection of roses, shrubs and trees at Creek Side, which can be planted all summer as long as they are irrigated well through the warm summer months.  Potting soils, garden soil amendments, fertilizer and pest control products to help keep the garden going strong all summer season are in good supply. Keep an eye open for summer specials and promotions.  Chances are pretty good that you may find a good deal from week to week through the summer months.  The Green Team is at your service all summer to help answer any garden questions or help trouble shoot problems that may arise.  Don’t be a stranger.  Visit Creek Side Gardens and share in our wonderful Summer Events.
