Spring is in the air and just in time, Creek Side Gardens is now open for business. We take a little break during the winter months to work on new projects and greenhouse maintenance so that everything will be ready to go for the busy spring season. And ready to go we are!
As we have been sharing with you the past several weeks, planting has been happening in the greenhouse for the past several weeks. This week all the big, beautiful patio container gardens and hanging baskets have been planted. New combinations of flowers, customer favorites and cool new colors and flower varieties have been assembled and will begin their growing process. Nothing like bright sunshine, longer day lengths and warm temperatures to get everything going off to a great start. Stop by and ask for a greenhouse tour. We will show you what we have been up to.
This winter not all the action has been happening in the greenhouses. The store lobby has been completely re-modeled. We are so excited to show off our progress. The changes we make are made with the thought of our customers in mind. What can we do to help improve the Creek Side experience where we bring color to your life in so many ways? We hope you’ll stop in soon to check it out for yourself.
Because of the re-modeling process, the Indoor Living gift shop is not open quite yet. All the fun, new home décor and giftware is here on site and just waiting for the construction to finish up. It looks like that area of the store will be ready to go in a couple of weeks, by March 12.
In the meantime, the glasshouse is fully stocked with succulents, herbs and houseplants. Botanical Interests vegetable, herb and flower seeds plus indoor seed sowing supplies including soil, pots and trays are ready to go. New garden décor is on display.
