Retail Associate

Are you a people person and enjoy working with customers?
We are seeking strong candidates for retail associates. Retail experience is helpful but not required. This is a Part Time Seasonal Position; duties include but not limited to:
- Candidate must have good customer service skills and people skills.
- The candidate will assist customers with plant material, hard goods, gift items and more.
- POS check-out is a must and register experience is desired.
- Assist with planting as needed and tagging incoming product.
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
- Weekend shifts are required
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions (excessive heat or cold)
- Must be able to multitask, follow directions, and be a self-starter.
- This is a fast-paced position at our peak season and the candidate must be able to work well under pressure.
We are seeking someone who is honest, hardworking, self-motivated and enjoys working with others.
Must have reliable transportation
Plant knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals is helpful.

Greenhouse Production

Duties would include, but not limited to filling containers with soil, moving plant material, assist production staff with greenhouse watering and planting, trash and property maintenance, receiving deliveries, making deliveries and/or company errands, plant display set-up, re-stock plant display with plants, assist retail staff with any project needed such as; moving pottery and fountains, set up of plant benches, etc.,
Position requirements
- Report directly to General Manager or Retail Manager
- Able to lift 30-40 lbs
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions (excessive heat or cold)
- Must work some weekend days
- Self-starter and able to follow directions
- Works well independently and with others
- Seasonal/part time position with potential to continue on through the fall/holiday season
