Houseplants – Fall Indoor Gardening

As the fall season approaches, we start to focus our attention back to our indoor plants that we may have put on the back burner all summer.  Houseplants will thrive all winter and make us happy. We share with you some great houseplant varieties, lighting needs and other care.

Bringing in houseplants from the outdoors

The nights are getting chilly now.  Houseplants won’t tolerate temps in the low 50’s and 40’s so time to bring them indoors.  Select a good location so they continue to get the sun.  Treat any houseplants you had outside with an insecticide systemic.  Bring in the plants, not the bugs.
